What is the most important thing I want to achieve today?

Plan B and C for life + how to recover work Plan A.

Things I learnt today

  • I don’t want to be lulled into decisions just because someone with the upper hand says so. Power imbalances are BOUND to create certain complications - learn to say no and be clear.

  • Some things should be based on instinct and feeling - mistakes are ok to be made. It’s not okay to live on the verge of tears every two minutes - it’s not productive for anyone

  • Some things are meant to be private

  • Dragon boating with an open wound and killing it!

Things I could do differently to make the day (life) better

  • Completed non-work tasks

  • How can I educate myself in matters I feel like I am not competent in? Look for free courses.

  • Be more objective in making decisions - but remember that emotions are important too. If you make an objectively sound decision you feel intrinsically shitty about - that’s a good enough reason to question it.

Things I did well today

  • Dragon boat despite wound + hangover

  • Spent some wonderful time alone

  • Planned for the worst - looked for new jobs. Tried to figure out what are the most important things to me right now - money, freedom, work I am proud of, working with people I love.

  • Cooked a delicious meal for my lover and moi! It’s really fun to cook for someone else. And weirdly rewarding.

Things I want to concentrate on doing tomorrow

  • Play tennis! Learn new things :D

  • Read Gone Girl

  • Cooking burritos!!
